KYOCERA becomes a gold level member of the SAP® Printer Vendor Program

This cooperation gives customers the assurance that SAP device types are developed by KYOCERA itself and tested in an SAP environment. Therefore, the printers and MFPs can be integrated smoothly within all standard SAP business applications. Documents and forms can be printed out directly from the SAP ERP system. Users have unlimited access to functions such as duplex printing and document finishing. Furthermore, as part of the SAP® Printer Vendor Program, KYOCERA is able to access special SAP development environments and develop customised adaptations for customers. KYOCERA has its own SAP team for this purpose providing an expert service and developing solutions.

Moreover, KYOCERA printers are equipped with durable ECOSYS technology for which toner is the only consumable. This ensures minimal printing costs even with high print volumes.

Flexible barcode and Unicode printing
KYOCERA devices already support barcode printing as standard. The KYOCERA application KYOmulticode and PCL Barcode Flash 3.0 with their extended range of barcode symbols and characters are useful tools for companies operating on an international level or firms with a high throughput of goods. The software is easy to install with Plug & Play. KYOCERA systems can therefore be integrated within the SAP system even in existing hybrid print environments without any additional programming. Besides all the features of PCL Barcode Flash 3.0, KYOmulticode offers more than 90,000 representable characters from the Standard UNICODE character set. Companies can therefore use a standard and internationally-recognised character set when drawing up forms and documents. Considerably less programming is therefore required. Asian characters have also been implemented, which is particularly useful for international trading.
